Ever imagined managing your work schedule, joining Teams calls, or checking emails seamlessly—all via voice control while driving? 🚗💬

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join a high-impact initiative for a global Tier 1 European Automotive Giant.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end development (both backend integration and frontend UI) of an in-vehicle assistant that connects Microsoft Office suite apps (Teams, Outlook, Calendar) directly into next-generation automotive HMI systems.

🛠️ What Will You Do?

  • Build a native Android application bridging in-car HMI with cloud-based productivity tools.

  • Develop both backend integration layers (cloud SaaS Speech-to-Text, native libraries, API communication) and modern frontend components.

  • Create sleek, responsive automotive GUIs using Jetpack Compose following the Android MVVM architecture.

  • Design and implement high-performance, secure communication protocols (JNI, gRPC, TLS).

🎯 What We Are Looking For:

  • Core Tech: Senior-level experience in Kotlin and native Android development, including AOSP / Android Automotive OS (AAOS).

  • Modern UI: Strong commercial experience building interfaces with Jetpack Compose.

  • Integrations & APIs: Proven expertise in building/integrating APIs and connecting with cloud SaaS services.

  • Low-Level Protocols: Solid understanding of native communication protocols (JNI, gRPC, TLS, idle API).

  • Engineering Standards: Proficiency with Gradle, Git, and automated CI/CD pipelines.

🌟 Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Voice UI (VUI), speech recognition, or Speech-to-Text (STT) technologies.

  • Background in In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems or automotive HMI.

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.

  • Python scripting skills.

💡 Why Apply?

  • Cutting-Edge Scope: Combine automotive software engineering with cloud AI productivity tools.

  • Full-Stack Android Challenge: Balance low-level protocol engineering (gRPC, JNI) with modern UI development (Jetpack Compose).

  • Flexibility: 100% remote workflow with a stable, long-term B2B contract.
